Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua announced his support for President Ruto’s leadership, affirming his commitment to realizing the Kenya Kwanza manifesto.
Gachagua made these remarks on Saturday at the burial of Mzee Gerald Gikonyo Kanyuria in Kangema, Murang’a, noting that he is currently focused on implementing projects and tasks assigned by President Ruto.
“I am not interested in politics at the moment; my priority is to unite our people and ensure their collective voice is heard,” Gachagua stated, criticizing leaders who have targeted him without justification.
He reiterated his dedication to advocating for the interests of the Mt Kenya region, emphasizing his role in fostering unity and progress under President Ruto’s leadership.
Gachagua expressed confidence in his growing influence as a regional leader, observing a shift in public sentiment towards his leadership.
He urged those opposing unity efforts to continue their stance, confident that his efforts with President Ruto would prevail.
