Festive Joy as Organisations Donate Gifts to Special Needs Children

Children with special needs at Mali Therapy Centre in Karen, Nairobi County, enjoyed an early Christmas celebration marked by colour, joy and generosity after two organisations partnered to donate gifts and light up a Christmas tree.

The festive event was attended by Ahadi Kenya Trust CEO Stanley Kamau, Mali Therapy Centre founder Pauline Elizabeth and Laticrete’s Winnie Kamande, who joined the children and staff as assorted gifts were handed out.

Speaking during the celebration, Kamau called on fathers of children with special needs to take responsibility and remain actively involved in their families, noting that many households face challenges when fathers withdraw.

He emphasised that strong parental support plays a vital role in the growth and well-being of children with special needs.

The celebration put smiles on the children’s faces and underscored the importance of inclusion, compassion and family support during the festive season.
