A boda boda rider was fatally stabbed during a confrontation at a bar in the Igare area of Kisii County, police have confirmed.
The victim, identified as 27-year-old Conlias Onchari, was attacked following a disagreement with a bouncer who works at a popular bar in the area. Police said the dispute escalated into a deadly altercation.

Investigators believe the killing occurred inside one of the bar’s cubicles, where bloodstains were discovered. The scene was secured and examined, with officers collecting evidence as part of the investigation.
The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday, after which the suspect fled. Police are now pursuing the bouncer, while the victim’s body has been taken to the mortuary pending a postmortem examination.
