Kenyans to Enjoy Easier Cash Access After Airtel–KCB Deal

Airtel Kenya has announced a new partnership with KCB Group aimed at improving access to mobile money services across the country by expanding cash withdrawal and deposit points for Airtel Money customers.

The collaboration will see Airtel Money users gain access to more than 30,000 KCB agents nationwide, allowing them to deposit and withdraw cash with greater ease and convenience.

The move is designed to bring financial services closer to customers, especially in underserved and remote areas.

According to the announcement, transactions carried out through the partnership will be processed in real time, ensuring customers experience faster, more reliable and seamless access to their funds whenever needed.

The initiative is part of a broader push to enhance financial inclusion in Kenya by reducing barriers to accessing basic financial services. By leveraging KCB’s extensive agent network, the partnership is expected to significantly strengthen Airtel Money’s reach and usability across the country.

Both institutions say the collaboration will help make everyday financial transactions simpler and more accessible to millions of Kenyans, supporting the continued growth of mobile money adoption in the country.

Airtel Kenya and KCB Group noted that the partnership reinforces their commitment to driving financial inclusion through expanded digital financial services, including Airtel Money.
