US President Donald Trump has said the new US administration has arranged talks with Ukraine and Russia, and the discussions are going “very well,” he said.

“We have meetings and talks scheduled with various parties, including Ukraine and Russia. And I think those discussions are going very well,” Trump told reporters, without elaborating.
Donald Trump has previously spoken of his willingness to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but the Kremlin says no specific proposals have yet been received from Washington.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with the Associated Press over the weekend, called the idea of talks to end the war without the participation of Ukrainian representatives dangerous.
“I think it’s very dangerous, I think, if there’s a direct conversation between the United States and Russia about Ukraine without Ukraine itself. This is very dangerous. They can have their own relationship. But talking about Ukraine without us is dangerous for everyone,” he said.
