Mid-Air Panic: Live Snake Found on AirAsia Flight

Chaos ensued on a flight from Bangkok to Phuket as passengers were startled to find a live snake in the overhead cabin.

AirAsia Thailand, in a statement to CNN, confirmed the incident, marking the second time a snake was discovered on one of their planes. A similar incident occurred in February 2022 on a Malaysian flight.

The airline, attributing it to rare circumstances, assured that the situation was handled with trained personnel. The recent occurrence involved a small snake in the overhead compartment, prompting a precautionary relocation of passengers by the well-prepared AirAsia crew.

After landing, the aircraft underwent thorough inspection and standard cleaning procedures before resuming operations. A TikTok video captured a flight attendant calmly using a plastic bottle to safely capture the snake, which was later investigated by airport security upon arrival in Phuket.
