Rescue efforts are ongoing, with a multi-agency response team deployed to the area. The operation involves personnel from the Kenya Red Cross Action Teams, the Kenya Police Service, the National Disaster Management Unit, and the county government, assisted by an excavator.
Authorities said the situation remains critical and requires great caution as teams work to reach the four individuals believed to be trapped beneath the debris.
Officials also warned that the remaining part of the structure is unstable and could collapse further, complicating the rescue mission.
