Mbooni: Man Suffers Severe Injuries As House Catches Fire While Sleeping

Authorities in Mbooni, Makueni county, are looking into an incident where a man sustained serious injuries after his residence was engulfed in flames on Friday night in Miau village.

Kieti Kivindyo, aged 42, was asleep when the fire broke out, causing him to lose consciousness.

Neighbors came to his rescue, and he was promptly transported to Makueni Referral Hospital.

However, due to the extent of his burns, Kivindyo had to be transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital for further medical treatment, as indicated by doctors in Makueni.”
