Kenya Power has announced that parts of Bomet, Homa Bay, Embu, and Nyamira counties will experience scheduled electricity interruptions on Monday.

In Bomet County, the outage will affect Kiptagich Town and surrounding areas including Kapket Market, Cheptuech, Chepnyalilo, Saoset, Kimugul, Tibwalo, F.K Sang, Konoin, Irongo, Wamkong Market, Emitik, Sukutek, Arorwet Sec, Tachasis Tea Factory, and other nearby locations. The disruption will last from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
In Homa Bay County, power will be cut in Oriang, Oyombe, and Wipap regions, as well as Nyakech, Kamolo, Dunga, Wimagak, Obunga, Ambassida, Kowuor Orlando, Bongia, Ongang, and nearby areas, also between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
In Embu County, areas around Kamugu and Kivwe will be affected, including Itira, Karambari, Kathanje, Michegethiu, Rwagori, Gathoge, Kirie, Kianjogu, Mukororia, Kandomba, Nguthi, and surrounding customers. The outage will occur from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
In Nyamira County, power will be off in Makairo and Sanganyi areas, affecting Sanganyi Factory, Nyaramba Market, Kiabonyoru Boys, Isinta Market, Nyagokiani Secondary School, Enkinda, and neighboring locations, also from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The utility company advised residents in these areas to plan accordingly.
