The Wiper Democratic Movement has announced plans to hold its National Delegates Congress (NDC) on October 10, 2025, at The Jockey Club, Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
In a notice dated September 10 and signed by Secretary General Senator Shakila Abdalla, the party outlined the agenda and instructions for delegates. The meeting was convened in line with Article 3.5 of the party’s constitution, which empowers the party leader to call and preside over the supreme decision-making organ.

The National Executive Council resolved to convene the Congress during its sitting on August 26, 2025.
According to the notice, the NDC will deliberate on critical matters touching on the party’s governance and strategic direction. Delegates are expected to consider constitutional amendments, review and adopt reports from the National Executive Council, and handle any other business that may arise.
The party directed delegates to be seated by 9:00 a.m. sharp, noting that any change of venue would be communicated in advance.

The Wiper leadership emphasised the significance of the gathering, describing the NDC as the highest decision-making platform that unites members from across the country to shape policy, governance, and internal party structures.
