“I’m back, like I never left. It feels great to be on screen again. Walikuwa wameniua — they had already killed me! How? Yet here I am,” he said, addressing the widespread claims that had caused anxiety among viewers.
The award-winning journalist poked fun at the rumours, noting that news of his “death” had been blown out of proportion. He even joked that no one has resurrected in more than 2,000 years, referencing the biblical story of Lazarus.
