In a tragic incident in Mwiki, Kasarani, two men were discovered dead following a dispute over a missing mobile phone.
The victims, Geoffrey Orina Omariba and Samson Manwa Ongera, were found deceased in their home, according to police reports.
The men had reportedly been involved in a confrontation with a casual worker named William over the lost phone around 1 p.m. on Monday. After the altercation, they went to sleep in their corrugated iron house with their injuries. Their bodies were discovered five hours later, showing signs of multiple injuries.
The bodies have been transferred to the City Morgue for autopsy and further investigation. Efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the suspect who fled the scene after the incident.

In another separate incident, Peter Odingo Owino, 20, died from electrocution at a construction site on Basgwa Road, Eastleigh. According to police, Owino was handling materials when he came into contact with a live wire. He was rushed to Al-Aqsa Medical Centre but was pronounced dead upon arrival. His body, which showed burns on his left leg and neck injuries, has been taken to Chiromo Mortuary for an autopsy.
Additionally, a murder investigation is ongoing following the death of a woman in Obama Estate, Nairobi. Neighbors reported hearing noises and screams from her rented house. Upon investigation, the woman was found unconscious with stab wounds inflicted by an unknown assailant. She was taken to Mama Lucy Hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
Police have determined that the woman had been with a male friend, with whom she had a quarrel. The suspect reportedly stabbed her in the neck. The scene revealed blood stains, an unused condom, and a blood-stained kitchen knife. The deceased had multiple stab wounds on her neck and chest. The search for the suspect continues, according to police.
