Both Thika-bound and Kilimambogo-bound motorists will be diverted according to the official traffic management plan.

Drivers heading toward Thika will be redirected through a side road to Gatuanyaga Market before rejoining the main highway, while those travelling toward Kilimambogo will use a parallel service road.

KeNHA noted that work areas will be clearly marked, with traffic marshals and police officers guiding motorists through the diversions.

The authority urged road users to remain cautious, follow signage, and cooperate with officials on the ground.

KeNHA added that the rehabilitation is part of broader efforts to enhance safety and improve the condition of the A3 highway. Motorists were advised to plan their journeys in advance as delays are expected along the Gatuanyaga stretch.

The notice concluded with an appeal for full cooperation from the public to ensure safety and maintain smooth traffic flow during the repair period.
