Speaking during a church service, Ruto assured the congregation the branded bus would be ready within two to three weeks.
“I’ve heard your request. Give me a short while because the bus must be customized and branded. I will deliver it personally,” he said.
He added, “I’ve also been informed that roof repairs will cost between Sh3 and Sh4 million. I’ve agreed to contribute, and I will liaise with your treasurer before leaving.”
Ruto emphasized the government’s decision to phase out asbestos due to its health hazards.

He also contributed Sh1 million to facilitate church members’ travel to an upcoming event in Kisumu—adding to Sh500,000 already pledged by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.

The President further promised to spearhead an empowerment fundraiser for Nairobi County and urged local leaders to ensure all wards are represented.
Joined by Governor Sakaja and other county leaders, Ruto also commended opposition leader Raila Odinga for supporting the unity agenda, noting that such collaboration will boost national development.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to transformative projects like affordable housing and universal healthcare.
“I am focused, determined, and committed. No amount of intimidation or insults will distract me. Change is coming, and that’s why you see resistance. But I won’t be swayed by noise,” said Ruto.
