President William Ruto officially welcomed nine new ambassadors and high commissioners to Kenya during a ceremony at State House in Nairobi.

The new envoys, representing Indonesia, Spain, Finland, Slovakia, Canada, Belarus, Congo, Sweden, and Israel, presented their letters of credence to the president. This formal act is a traditional step that officially marks the beginning of an ambassador’s diplomatic tenure.
During the ceremony, President Ruto formally accepted their credentials and authorized the new ambassadors to begin their work, stating he looks forward to collaborating with them to strengthen the relationship between Kenya and their respective countries.
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and other senior officials also attended the event.
