Naivasha, Kenya –A 32-year-old woman is in turmoil after a loyalty test involving her fiancé and best friend backfired, leaving her ignored by both.
The woman, who shared her ordeal through a social media post, revealed that she is set to marry her 36-year-old fiancé in June. She works in Naivasha while her fiancé is based in Nairobi. Despite having no reason to doubt his faithfulness, she was influenced by an online suggestion to test his loyalty.
On Christmas Day, she sent her best friend—whom her fiancé had never met—to deliver some food items from Gikomba. However, since that day, both her fiancé and best friend have been avoiding her calls, sparking fears of betrayal.
“What could be the problem?” she lamented, adding that the same friend was meant to be in her wedding lineup. The shock has left her unable to eat for three days.
Her story has ignited a heated debate online, with many blaming her for creating an unnecessary problem in her relationship. Others have sympathized with her, suggesting she prepare for the worst and move on.
As of now, it remains unclear whether her fiancé and best friend are involved romantically or if there is another explanation for their silence.
