Kenyan comedian and digital content creator Kendrick Mulamwah has taken legal action against his former partner, Caroline Muthoni, concerning their daughter’s custody.
A notice issued by the MNO Advocates highlights Mulamwah’s concerns regarding Caroline’s alleged interference with his relationship with their daughter, Keilah Oyando.

“Since the birth of the child over a year ago, you have consistently obstructed and made it exceedingly challenging for our client to foster a meaningful relationship with the child, thereby infringing upon the child’s right to paternal care and responsibility,” the statement expressed.

Caroline has been accused of exploiting their daughter’s image for personal gain without considering the child’s welfare or obtaining Mulamwah’s consent.
Mulamwah’s stipulations regarding his daughter include:
- Caroline must refrain immediately from engaging in defamatory interviews or social media posts about Mulamwah.
- Discussions between Mulamwah and Caroline should solely revolve around the welfare of their daughter, Keilah.
- Mulamwah should be granted access to the child for two consecutive days every weekend (from Friday 5 pm to Sunday 7 pm).
- Mulamwah has the right to take the child to his rural home to spend seven consecutive days with his family.
- The child’s birth certificate must be provided to facilitate the arrangement of medical insurance and obtain a travel passport.

Mulamwah shared the notice on his Instagram page, captioning it “Today marks the kickoff—if you have time, you can read. Let’s refrain from rushing to conclusions.”

The former couple has engaged in public exchanges on social media platforms, including TikTok videos and Instagram posts, since their separation.
