The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has notified users of a planned interruption to its Integrated Customs Management System (iCMS) on Sunday, October 12, 2025, to allow for scheduled maintenance.
In a statement issued on Saturday, KRA said the system will be unavailable from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., affecting both internal and external users who rely on the platform for customs operations.
“Please be advised that there will be a scheduled maintenance of iCMS from Sunday, October 12, 2025, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We regret any inconvenience caused,” the notice read in part.

The iCMS is KRA’s digital platform that manages all customs-related activities, including processing import and export declarations, managing cargo clearance, and facilitating communication between KRA and traders.
The system has played a key role in modernizing customs management by streamlining procedures, reducing paperwork, and improving transparency and efficiency in trade operations.
Through real-time data sharing and integration with agencies such as the Kenya Ports Authority and shipping lines, iCMS has also helped reduce clearance times, minimize fraud risks, and enhance revenue collection.
