KCB FC Confident for Muhoroni Clash, Eyes Top-Four Finish

KCB FC is optimistic as they approach their upcoming clash against Muhoroni Youth in the Kenyan Premier League this weekend, according to head coach Bernard Mwalala. Mwalala expressed confidence during the introduction of Faraj Ominde in a training session at Thika Stadium.

The coach stated that the team, now bolstered by eight new players, is well-prepared to compete for a top-four position.

Amid a transition process with the influx of new players, Mwalala emphasized the importance of quick adaptation to the team’s style of play. Despite recent performance challenges, he believes that the upcoming fixture against Muhoroni Youth could be a turning point for KCB FC.

Faraj Ominde, a seasoned midfielder formerly with Ulinzi Stars, is the latest addition to KCB FC, joining seven other new signings in the mid-season transfer window. Ominde expressed his honor in wearing the KCB jersey and considered it a privilege to play under Coach Mwalala. He looks forward to contributing to the club’s objectives and aims to help the team regain a spot in the top four.

Collins Neto is anticipated to lead the attack alongside dynamic winger Stephen Etyang and Henry Onyango. The defensive lineup, consisting of Kevin Okumu, Harriet Munga, Haniff Wesonga, and newcomer Francis Oduor, is expected to maintain their positions, with deputy captain Brian Onyango controlling the midfield.
