The charge sheet alleges that between July 10 and July 25, 2024, at Westlands, Kairo used fraudulent means to trick Jeff Munane into paying him Sh2.1 million through his company, Kai&Kairo Limited. This payment was for the importation of a Honda Vezel hybrid from Japan, which Kairo allegedly never provided.

Kairo’s legal team, led by Advocate Danstan Omari, requested that he be granted a lenient bond. Chief Magistrate Onyina is set to deliver a ruling on bail at 2 p.m.
