The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has invited qualified Kenyans to apply for temporary employment positions ahead of the February 26, 2026 by-elections.
In a public notice, the Commission said it is seeking to recruit Support Electoral Trainers (SETs), Presiding Officers and Deputy Presiding Officers, as well as Polling and Counting Clerks to facilitate the smooth conduct of the upcoming polls.
According to IEBC, the positions are part of preparations to ensure efficient voter education, proper management of polling stations, and accurate counting and tallying of votes during the by-elections.
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications online through the IEBC recruitment portal at https://jobs.iebc.or.ke. The Commission emphasized that only online applications will be accepted.
The deadline for applications is Monday, January 26, 2026.
IEBC encouraged eligible citizens to apply, noting that public participation in the electoral process is key to strengthening democracy.
