In a tragic incident, a 45-year-old grandfather named Richard Henderson was shot and killed on the New York subway as he intervened to resolve an argument regarding loud music, according to police reports on Monday.
Henderson sustained gunshot wounds to his back and shoulder while riding the subway home on Sunday evening.
