Former ODM MCA Succumbs to Brief Illness

Abiud Ochilang’ole, the former representative of Amukura West Ward in the County Assembly, has passed away, as confirmed by the party on Monday evening.

The party disclosed that Ochilang’ole passed away following a short period of illness, as stated in an official announcement.

Having served two terms from 2013 to 2022 as the Amukura West Ward MCA, Ochilang’ole’s death was mourned by the party, extending condolences to his family, friends, and the wider ODM community in Busia County.

This loss was compounded by the passing of Aggrey Okoth Ombee, the chairman of the Gem ODM Youth League, who also succumbed to a brief illness, according to the party.

Describing Ombee as a diligent and committed youth advocate, the party emphasized his steadfast advocacy for the rights of the youth he represented, expressing deep sorrow over his demise.
