Family of University Student Missing Since 2013 Seeks Answers

The Cheptarus family from Talai village in Baringo Central has been enduring 11 years of anguish since their fourth-born son, Victor Kibarus, went missing in early 2013.

 

Luka Cheptarus struggled to explain the mysterious circumstances surrounding Victor’s disappearance. Victor, a university student at the time, had been running a movie shop in Kabarnet town during the long holiday.

The normally sociable and bright student changed in early 2013, stopped answering calls, and vanished. Despite efforts to trace him, the family has been unsuccessful, with the last update from Moi University confirming Victor’s last appearance in January 2013.

An Occurrence Book (OB) number recorded at the Langas police station on March 22, 2016, following the disappearance of a university student, Victor Kibarus from Talai, Baringo Central who went missing in January 2013.

The family appeals for assistance and information on Victor’s whereabouts.
