In a statement, area Member of Parliament Peter Orero confirmed the tragedy confirmed that six others—including a man, two women, and three children—suffered severe burns and were rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with those injured as they fight to recover,” he said.
Orero added that a response team had been dispatched to coordinate with emergency services and provide urgent support to affected families, including medical aid, counseling, and other necessary assistance.
