Law enforcement authorities in Kwale County have apprehended a foreign individual on suspicion of sexually assaulting his 4-year-old daughter in the Diani area.
Identified as 58-year-old Schultz Hannjo, a German citizen, the accused allegedly committed the offense and subsequently fled to neighboring Mombasa County.
Hannjo was taken into custody and is currently detained at the Diani police station pending further investigation.
He is slated to appear in Kwale Law Courts on Thursday to face charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of the child.
