According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the MCA had been under investigation over three separate phone theft incidents reported in August and September 2026.
Detectives relied on CCTV footage to identify the suspect and link him to the reported incidents, leading to his arrest.
The arrest has also brought to light an outstanding warrant against Musyoka in a separate criminal case.
The DCI said the MCA is wanted in connection with Criminal Case No. 112/303/2024 after he allegedly failed to appear in court following his release on bond by the Makadara Law Courts, where he had been charged with stealing.

Musyoka is currently in police custody undergoing processing ahead of his arraignment in court.
The DCI reiterated its commitment to pursuing criminal investigations and ensuring suspects are brought before the courts, regardless of their position or status in society.
The allegations against the MCA remain subject to determination by the courts.
