Renowned American preacher T.D. Jakes, leader of the Potter’s House, has broken his silence on the circulating rumors connecting him to music mogul Sean Diddy’s social gatherings. Speaking to his congregation over the weekend, an emotional Jakes asserted that he refuses to use the pulpit to defend falsehoods and is committed to preaching the truth.
During his address, Jakes made it clear that he is not seeking to persuade people to believe him but emphasized that he will faithfully speak the truth, as it is his calling. In a defiant and emotional moment, he stated, “Some of you come in to hear what I’m going to say. All of you who expect me to address a lie, you can log off. I will not use this sacred day and this sacred pulpit to address a lie when I have a chance to preach a truth. I will stand straight up, head up, back straight and preach the unadulterated, infallible word of God.”
Jakes urged people to dismiss the rumors and advised them to “save their energy.” His response followed days of social media speculation, with unfounded claims suggesting his regular attendance at Diddy’s events. In response to the rumors, Jakes’ communication team categorically denied them, labeling the allegations as “unequivocally false and baseless.”
