Billionaire Yagnesh Devani has been taken to Kilimani police station, where he will remain overnight until Wednesday when he is due to enter a plea regarding corruption charges linked to the Triton oil scandal.

Devani appeared in court on Tuesday after a warrant for his arrest, issued in 2009, was enforced.
Magistrate Thomas Nzyuki of Milimani Court decided not to grant bail, citing the need for fair justice, given the outstanding warrant.
Devani is set to face new charges related to the Triton case.
