Authorities in Limuru, Kiambu County, are currently on the hunt for a suspect responsible for fatally stabbing a teacher at her residence in Kamirithu.
The victim, identified as 51-year-old Irene Ng’endo, served as a teacher at Thigio Ndeiya Primary School. The attack occurred at her home around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Upon discovery, neighbors found Ng’endo in a critical condition, but unfortunately, their attempts to rush her to the hospital were unsuccessful.
The family and acquaintances of the deceased teacher are urging investigators to expedite the inquiry process to bring the perpetrator to justice before they proceed with laying their loved one to rest.
Philip Mwania, the local police commander, informed the press that two phones believed to be associated with the crime have been recovered by authorities.
