CS Kindiki Transfers 12 County Commissioners, Recalls 5 to Nairobi Headquarters

CS Kithure Kindiki has relocated 12 County Commissioners and summoned five others to the ministry’s base in Nairobi.

  • Abdirisack Jaldesa has been shifted from Mombasa to Nyandarua, with Mohamed Nur taking his place from Tana River.
  • Erastus Mbui has been moved from Kitui to Laikipia, replaced by Kipchumba Rutto from Busia.
  • Henry Wafula has been transferred from Samburu to Makueni, and Onesmus Kyatha has taken his place from Nyamira.
  • Patrick Mukuria has been relocated from Murang’a to Kisii, replaced by Joshua Nkanatha from Kiambu.
  • Hiram Kahiro has been transferred from the Ministry Headquarters at Harambee House to Kwale.
  • Apollo Okello has been moved from West Pokot to serve as the Personal Assistant to the Rift Valley Regional Commissioner.
  • Susan Waweru has been moved from Nairobi to Siaya.
  • Jacob Ouma has been transferred from Turkana to Meru.

This restructuring leaves Tana River, Kiambu, Turkana, Busia, Nyamira, Nairobi, and West Pokot without county commissioners, as replacements were not named. Additionally, Narok and Kajiado are without commissioners after Isaac Masinde and Jude Wesonga were recalled to the ministry headquarters for redeployment, with no replacements announced.
