The DCI Queens produced a spirited performance to defeat Post Bank 3-2 in an exciting Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Women’s National League quarter-final, securing a place in the semi-finals.
Post Bank made an impressive start, taking the opening set 25-19 to put the Queens on the back foot. The DCI side quickly regrouped, responding with solid defence, effective serving, and sharp attacking play to claim the second set 25-18 and level the match.
The Queens carried their momentum into the third set, dominating proceedings to register a comfortable 25-17 victory and move one set away from the semi-finals.
Post Bank fought back in the fourth set, edging a closely contested battle 26-24 to force the match into a deciding fifth set.
In the decisive tie-break, the DCI Queens held their composure and delivered a commanding performance, winning 15-9 to complete a hard-earned 3-2 victory and book their place in the last four.

The Queens will now turn their attention to a highly anticipated semi-final clash against Kenya Pipeline next weekend as they continue their pursuit of the KVF Women’s National League title.
