Tsuma was found outside his home with serious head injuries and bleeding from the mouth and nose. He was rushed to Malindi General Hospital but later died while receiving treatment.

Before he passed away, he reportedly told relatives that two individuals posing as passengers attacked him and escaped with his motorcycle.

Police, alongside crime scene investigators, documented the scene before moving the body to Malindi General Hospital mortuary for a postmortem. Investigations are ongoing, with efforts underway to track down the suspects and recover the stolen bike.

In a separate case, authorities in Embu County are investigating the death of a woman in her 30s found unresponsive in a house in Embu North.

The woman, identified as Alice Njeri Wambui from Ngariama East in Kirinyaga County, was discovered on a bed at a residence in Kibugu on Thursday morning.

Police say she had visited her boyfriend at around 1:00 am on April 30 and later complained of stomach pain. She was taken to Kibugu Health Centre for treatment at around 4:00 am before returning to the house.

The man reportedly left her resting and went out, but upon returning, he found her unresponsive.

Her body was taken to Embu Level Five Hospital mortuary, where a postmortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death. Police have launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
