15 MPs Declare Support for MP Ndindi Nyoro as 2032 Potential Presidential Candidate

Fifteen Members of Parliament (MPs) have pledged their backing for Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro to potentially become President in 2032, assuming President William Ruto secures a second term in office.

The legislators, representing various regions of the country, officially endorsed Nyoro during an event held at Mumbi Grounds in Murang’a County on Friday.

“Let us support our brother because here in the Mt. Kenya region, we do not have a leader who can lead us well; the one we have right now is Ndindi Nyoro,” remarked Gatundu North MP Elijah Kururia.

“Please allow Nyoro to traverse the entire country, continue nurturing other leaders, and also build friendships,” added Shinyala MP Fred Ikana.

The endorsement of Nyoro has reportedly caused discontent among leaders aligned with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who has been working to consolidate the region in his aspirations to follow in Ruto’s footsteps.
