Preliminary reports indicate the aircraft, which was carrying tourists, burst into flames upon impact, leaving little to no chance of survival. Eyewitnesses say the wreckage and passengers were completely burned.
Security personnel and emergency responders have since arrived at the scene, but ongoing rescue efforts are being hampered by poor weather conditions.
Authorities are working to confirm the exact number of casualties and the cause of the crash as investigations continue.
