The affected vacancies, advertised under reference PSC/PJS/01/2025, were meant to fill roles involving security enforcement within Parliament, including access control, use of screening equipment, patrols, crowd management, and first aid.
In a notice signed by PSC Secretary Jeremiah Nyegenye, the Commission announced the termination of the recruitment process, citing no reasons for the move but expressing regret for any inconvenience caused.
The initial advert, published in early July, had set July 15, 2025, as the application deadline. Applicants were required to have at least a KCSE mean grade of D+, paramilitary training, and a minimum of three years’ experience in a uniformed service.
