The US Embassy in Kenya has announced it will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024.
In a statement, the embassy, led by Meg Whitman, explained that it will be observing Veterans Day, a national holiday in the United States that honors military veterans. Veterans Day is always observed on November 11, regardless of the day of the week.
“The embassy will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day,” the statement said.
