National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula is set to visit the home of former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson Wafula Chebukati in Trans Nzoia County on Saturday to offer his condolences to the grieving family.

Chebukati passed away on February 20 while receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
Funeral arrangements are currently in progress, with his burial scheduled for March 8 at his Sabata farm in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County.
The funeral service for the late IEBC Chairperson will be held on Wednesday, March 5, in Nairobi.
A special tribute service will take place on Friday, March 7, at his Kitale home, where family, friends, and colleagues will gather to honor his life before his burial.
As per the family’s program, the service will begin at 11 a.m. at CITAM Karen, Nairobi.
Chebukati passed away due to cardiac arrest on February 20 while undergoing treatment.
