A preliminary police investigation indicates that the Probox driver may have been speeding, and the passengers—believed to be family members returning from holiday celebrations—could have been under the influence of alcohol.
The collision left three people dead at the scene, while the four injured survivors were rushed to Kericho County Referral Hospital, where they are receiving treatment.
