The official X account of the late former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga, @RailaOdinga, is now under the management of The RAO Foundation, the organization created to honor and preserve his legacy following his death in 2025.

A message posted on the account, which has 4.9 million followers, confirmed the change, stating:
“@RailaOdinga is now managed by The RAO Foundation in honor of the legacy of the Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, CGH. Father, Prime Minister, Enigma, Hero, Baba. 1945–2025.”
The latest post on the account was a retweet by Raila Odinga Jr., his youngest son, thanking Kenyans for their support during his coronation as head of the Odinga family. The traditional ceremony took place on October 23, 2025, at the family’s Opoda Farm in Bondo, Siaya County, just four days after Raila’s burial.
The RAO Foundation is expected to use the account to share memories, celebrate his contributions to democracy, and advance his lifelong causes — justice, unity, and good governance in Kenya.
Raila Odinga passed away on October 15, 2025, after more than four decades of dedicated public service and advocacy for the rights and freedom of the Kenyan people.
