Passengers Demand Action Against Rude 2NK SACCO Driver

Passengers of 2NK SACCO Society LTD are demanding immediate action against one of their drivers, identified by the plate number KCV 669 (last digit hidden), for his disrespectful and reckless behavior during a recent journey from Nairobi to Nyeri.

The outcry stems from a complaint shared by Wilsons De’rangle Ndirangu on his Facebook account, detailing the harrowing experience endured by passengers on the said trip. According to Ndirangu’s account, the driver exhibited rude and arrogant behavior throughout the journey, with the radio blaring at full volume despite passengers’ requests for it to be lowered. Moreover, the driver allegedly ignored requests to stop at designated drop-off points, passing by two destinations without stopping.

Ndirangu likened the atmosphere inside the matatu to that of a nightclub, expressing frustration at the driver’s disregard for passenger comfort and safety. He emphasized that passengers expect a certain level of professionalism and respect from public transport operators, which was clearly lacking in this instance.

This incident has sparked widespread condemnation on social media platforms, with many calling for swift action to be taken against the errant driver. Concerned citizens are urging 2NK SACCO Society LTD to investigate the matter thoroughly and implement disciplinary measures to ensure such behavior is not repeated.

Efforts to reach out to 2NK SACCO Society LTD for comment on the matter have been unsuccessful thus far. However, passengers remain adamant that drivers displaying such blatant disregard for passenger welfare should not be allowed to operate on public roads.

As the outcry grows louder, authorities are being urged to intervene and hold accountable those responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers traveling with public transport operators like 2NK SACCO Society LTD.
