Police in Machakos County have launched investigations after the body of a two-year-old boy was found at a dumpsite in Mlolongo.
According to authorities, the child’s body was discovered behind Mlolongo Primary School on January 22, 2026.
Investigators suspect the boy may have died in a different location before his body was dumped at the site.
Police noted that the body had old scars, and there were signs of bleeding from the left ear. It was taken to a mortuary for a postmortem examination as inquiries continue.
As of Friday morning, no suspects had been arrested, and the child’s identity had not yet been established.
