In a bid to explore avenues for collaboration, Makueni Deputy Governor, H.E Lucy Mulili, warmly received representatives from the Shining Hope For Communities (SHOFCO) organization on Wednesday.

The meeting aimed to deliberate on potential partnership opportunities between the county and SHOFCO.

SHOFCO, a well-known non-governmental organization with an extensive 20-year history of community development initiatives throughout Kenya, focuses on critical sectors such as water provision, healthcare, and youth empowerment.
During the discussions, Deputy Governor Mulili lauded SHOFCO’s efforts in sponsoring 61 young individuals from Makueni County for technical courses in various educational institutions.

She also expressed the administration’s eagerness to collaborate with SHOFCO to bolster service delivery and foster community engagement within the region.
