However, he emphasized that he will not enter into any political alliance with the Kenya Kwanza government.

The former vice president dismissed rumors suggesting he was in discussions with Ruto’s camp, labeling them as mere speculation.

Kalonzo made these comments while attending the launch of Gladys Muthui’s book, Moving Beyond Limitation, at the Gospel Outreach Church, Joska Transformation Centre in Nairobi.

He reassured the public, saying, “People should not panic or claim that Kalonzo has gone to State House.”

“If it’s about meeting Ruto to discuss who should be the next IEBC chairperson, then I am open to that meeting,” he added.

Kalonzo also reaffirmed his intention to run for president in 2027, urging Kenyans to make the right choice in the upcoming election. “The next time I meet Ruto will be when he hands over power, just as Uhuru did,” he remarked.

His comments come as he actively seeks alliances with key opposition figures, such as former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, in preparation for the 2027 elections. Kalonzo recently criticized ODM leader Raila Odinga for entering into a cooperation agreement with President Ruto, calling it an act of betrayal.
