The announcement came during Karibu-Kilifair 2025, the region’s largest tourism exhibition, which wrapped up on Sunday in Arusha, Tanzania.

The three-day event attracted more than 500 exhibitors from over 15 countries, along with over 1,000 international buyers, industry leaders, media representatives, and trade visitors, according to the EAC.

The campaign seeks to unite tourism players from across EAC partner states—including national tourism boards, tour operators, hoteliers, and service providers—under a common framework to promote cross-border collaboration, co-branding initiatives, and regional travel packages.

The EAC emphasized that the broader aim is to boost the region’s visibility, enhance its global tourism competitiveness, and drive sustainable development and investment in the sector.
