CCTV Captures Two Men Disposing of Vehicle Linked to Missing Wells Fargo HR Executive

Authorities are investigating two unidentified men seen on CCTV footage parking a vehicle owned by a senior executive from a private security firm, who was reported missing for four days before being found deceased on Wednesday.

Willis Ayieko, the Head of Human Resources at Wells Fargo, was last seen attending a burial ceremony in Gem Constituency, Siaya County, on Friday.

Police confirmed on Wednesday that the body discovered earlier in Nyamninia, Gem Location, belonged to Mr. Ayieko, with his brother, Aggrey Oduor, confirming the identification.

The body was found face down in a stream by local residents and subsequently reported to the authorities.

“This discovery is vital to our investigation,” stated Gem Sub-County police commander Charles Wafula. “We are collaborating with the DCI to identify the perpetrators and are pursuing leads that may clarify the motive behind the murder.”

Mr. Wafula noted that Mr. Ayieko’s body bore visible injuries, though it remains uncertain if they were the result of a struggle. “The body was dumped in a shallow stream; he could not have drowned there,” he added.

Mr. Ayieko’s vehicle, an orange Ford Ranger double-cabin pickup, was found abandoned at a petrol station in Vihiga County, several kilometers away from the location where his body was discovered.
