A man has been found dead in Kangundo, Machakos County.
The deceased’s decomposing body was reportedly discovered by a passer-by who raised an alarm leading to locals’ response Saturday morning. Eyewitnesses said the body that was lying at a thicket along Tala – Kangundo road within Airport village was mutilated beyond recognition.
“The body is mutilated beyond recognition, it has maggots. The deceased’s one leg and a hand are also missing,” an eyewitness told media.
Locals thronged the scene where the body was lying for viewing. Police were yet to get to the scene by press time.
