An ambulance from Jesus Compassion Ministries (JCM), led by Bishop Ben Kiengei, was on Monday, November 10, 2025, dispatched to Kenyatta National Hospital’s private wing to transport the body of gospel singer Betty Bayo to the Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary.
A video shared by a local YouTuber on Facebook captured the moment the JCM ambulance arrived at the hospital’s parking lot, with church staff joining the grieving family inside the facility.
Earlier in the day, Betty Bayo’s daughter, Sky Victor, had arrived at the hospital accompanied by fellow gospel artist Shiru Wa GP, who was seen comforting her.
An emotional scene unfolded as Sky met her father, Pastor Victor Kanyari, at the hospital’s private wing.
Upon learning of her mother’s passing, Sky broke down in tears, prompting Kanyari to embrace her as other mourners, including gospel musician Ben Githae, gathered around to console the family.
