Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Student and Teacher in Baringo County

In a devastating turn of events, a fatal road accident has claimed the lives of a student and a teacher in Baringo County.

The incident occurred when a school bus, carrying a total of 63 passengers including 61 students, one teacher, and the driver, veered off the road and rolled over at the Patkawanin area along the Kabarnet-Marigat highway.

Reports from the authorities indicate that the bus lost control while navigating a sharp corner, ultimately plummeting to the base of a steep slope.

Despite the swift response of emergency services, the student and teacher succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the remaining passengers were promptly evacuated and transported to various hospitals across the county for urgent medical attention.
