Three people died on the spot following a head-on collision between a bodaboda and a matatu on Monday near Mutituni market along the Machakos-Kangundo road in Machakos County.
According to reports, the deceased were among four pillion passengers riding on the motorcycle toward Machakos town. The motorcycle was reportedly attempting to overtake when it collided head-on with the matatu, which was traveling in the direction of Kangundo.
The injured were rushed to Machakos Level Five Hospital for treatment, while the bodies of the deceased have been taken to the hospital’s mortuary.
